In the wake of recent economic crisis, job scenario in US, which is still the world’s largest economy, is undergoing a revival with several companies hiring. But for complete revival to normal, as was the scenario
before recession 2008, it might take another 2 to 3 years, as some of the experts predict.
With the current unemployment rate at 9.7 per cent (February 2010) which is highest in the last 25 years, the situation might take some time to improve. The US government is leaving no stone unturned to restore the situation.
Though people with sound technical skills are still finding decent jobs, yet hiring is yet to catch up again. There are fixed number of visas issued every year for work permit in US. To be the lucky one, you need to get your things in order to get through. For even slightest reasons, you might miss the train.
However the positive side of this recession is, you can hone your skills and improve your qualification, so by the time you finish the job market will be up again.
